Class Infomation

Class prices:
(Pre-k) $45.00 a month
(Kids) for two days a week $45.00 a month. Three or more days a week please contact us for rate.
(Adults) $45.00 a month
Please note: When a new student tests for a yellow belt he/she will have to join the WYKKO (World Yoshukai Karate Kobudo Organization), the cost is $35.00 a year.
Class times:
Note: Please arrive five to ten miniutes early or phone ahead, if you wish to speak to Mr. Taylor before class.
All students MUST TRY to arrive at least five miniutes early to change, use the rest room, ect.
Mon. 5:30-6:00 (Pre-k) 6:00-7:00 (Kids)
Tue. 6:00-7:00 (Kids) 7:00-8:30 (Adults)
Wed. 5:30-6:00 (Pre-k) 6:00-7:00 (Kids)
Thu. 6:00-7:00 (Kids) 7:00-8:30 (Adults)
Fri. Closed
Sat. Testing (check for schedule)
Class infomation:
(Pre-k) Class length 30 minutes. Class meets Mon. & Wed. This class is for kids ages 4-6. The class starts off with a light warm-up, that lasts about 5-10 minutes. Then we bow to start class, then we start with techniques. Techniques are done with an instructor standing infront of the class, demonstrating the moves (like a game of copycat); and another instructor will walk around explaining the moves and help the students when they need it. Midway thru class we break for 20 push-ups and 20 crunches (to help build team work and patience this exercise is done in a group manner with an instructor counting and/or doing the exercise with the group), then a small water break. The last part of class is striking the pads/shields or the class might have a fun race with the animal walks. The Pre-k class doesn't spar (controlled fighting) with each other. When the time comes to spar they will spar with an instructor.
(Kids) Class length 1 hour. Class meets Mon.-Thu. This class is a big step up from the Pre-k. This class is for ages 6-12. We start the class off with a warm-up that lasts about 10-15 minutes. Then we bow to start class, then we start with techniques & combinations. Midway thru class we break for 30 push-ups and 90 crunches (to help build team work and patience this exercise is done in a group manner with an instructor counting and/or doing the exercise with the students), then a small water break. The last part of class depends on the head instructor. The kids class sparring (controlled fighting) is Wed. & Thu. nights. However new students will have to wait for Mr. Taylor's "ok" to be able to spar.
(Adults) Class length 1 hour. Class meets Tue. & Thu. This class is for ages 13 & up. We start the class off with a warm-up that lasts about 10-15 minutes. Then we bow to start class, then we start with techniques & combinations. Midway thru class we break for 30 push-ups and 90 crunches, then a small water break. The last part of class depends on the head instructor. The adults sparring class is Thurday night. However new students will have to wait for Mr. taylor's "ok" to be able to spar.
